Elevator puzzle
Tenebris Somnia: Elevator Color Puzzle
Get the Black Candle, read the Old Book's color sequence and match the elevator floors to reach the hidden lower level.
Before using the elevator
Finish the film-school camera sequence and enter the dark TV room. Turn on the sets, deal with the encounter, and complete the television clue. Julia records the colors in the Old Book. Collect the Black Candle from the table before you leave.
If you only have the opening apartment's TV-symbol clue, you are too early in the route. Continue through the film school first. The TV guide separates these two rooms.

Match colors to floors
| Color in the clue | Floor to select |
|---|---|
| Blue | 3 |
| Green | 2 |
| Red | 1 |
| White | 0, the ground floor |
Keep the clue and mapping separate. The pattern can differ between saves; the table is the conversion key. A walkthrough author's sequence is only an example of that author's run.
Enter your sequence
- Light the Black Candle and use it inside the elevator. The interior changes.
- Open the Old Book and locate the colors recorded from the television room.
- Read that sequence from the top. Convert each color using the floor table above.
- Use the elevator panel to visit the corresponding floors in order.
- Continue the sequence until the hidden lower-level route is available. Confirm your destination before continuing into the childhood-memory section.
The Black Candle enables this progression; it is not another color to map to Floor 0. Do not add an invented extra button press simply because the candle is black.
If Floor minus one does not appear
- No recorded colors: return to the TV room and finish its interactions.
- No Black Candle: check the table in the lit TV room.
- Correct colors, wrong result: confirm you are following the order in your Old Book rather than the order of rows in this guide.
- The elevator looks unchanged: check the candle is lit and has been used in the elevator.
Once the route works, continue at the second film canister checkpoint. The later silver-bottle objective has its own moonlight guide.
